Hallmarking
An optional final step. We take your finished pieces to a BIS-licensed hallmarking centre and bring them back marked, so independent proof of purity never becomes your logistics problem.
Why we handle hallmarking for you
Indian law requires hallmarking to be carried out at a BIS-licensed assaying centre, so this is the one stage that does not happen inside our building. What we do is take it off your hands: we batch the pieces, submit them, follow them up and collect them, so it stays our logistics problem rather than yours.
Most manufacturers hand a finished piece back and leave this to you: one more vendor to chase, one more shipment to track, one more week you did not plan for. We would rather absorb that.
How it fits the production chain
- Every casting is first karat-verified by Fischer XRF as it leaves the casting department
- Our quality control department applies its tolerance standards and multi-point inspection
- Finished, set and polished pieces are then submitted to the hallmarking centre
- Allow around seven days for the round trip, plus a day at the centre itself
Hallmarking is entirely optional. If you would rather arrange it yourself, or do not need it, we dispatch finished pieces unmarked and you save the lead time. Tell us which you want when you place the order.
